Not sure how these themes start or how the graffiti artists pick up on those but the Berenkuil has turned into a Heroes Theme at the moment. From Soldiers to Superman to more characters, everyone wants to be a hero, even if it's just for one day. While I was there I saw two cyclists run into eachother. One flew over the bars and the other one just tipped over. Awesome! 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
