the most. The San Diegan is so consistent in what he does and that includes his hard stuff. Each rider had a few 45 second runs and when you crashed twice, your run was over. It kept the momentum going but asked for some solid riding at the same time. Dennis was all over the place and used the drops, stairs, ledges, quarters, gap and rails on the street course. Garrett Reynolds went big on the stair section in his first run and with the best run counting in the 15 minute jam session he was already up there. Jason Phelan was stoked on making finals alone and that also goes for Chris and Kyle. At one point Jason hit his head hard which made him feel dizzy, but not from the booze. he came back for a last banging run where he mixed up old and new moves like an uprail to hard whip off to flip fakie to over tooth 360 down the rail. Stoked! Kyle Baldock has got the tricks and might look even better on a real park course but he worked the set up well with flair whips, cancan flairs, double whips and moves like that for 4th right behind Jason. An impressive Chris O'Donnell ran a bit out of steam in the finals but had the best style of them all. He's the hang-5 master but has got sweet tables too and unmatched bike control. It was a new name for me but one to remember for sure.
On the podium Dennis Enarson and Garrett Reynolds were pointing at eachother who should have won. it was Dennis who stepped on the highest platform this time. A surprise for some if you would have had to make a guess before the competition, but not for those who saw the finals.
Mini Mega is left. Practice is going on right now. Need to take some pics there as I have 0 at the moment.
Peace out from China.
