way up, or jump the launch ramp on the party bike and turn around at the last cone to get back. Now if you have seen the party bike you know it's hard to jump that thing but still some guys went for it and survived. The trick in this contest was the choice of beer that was available. All nice and warm so it would taste like shit from the start.
The choice was between a regular Bavaria beer (5% Alc.), an 8.6% Bavaria beer and there were three Gross Kanon cans available of 11.6% Alc. content. If you picked the regular beer, you were treated with a 15 second penalty from tthe start. The 8.6 beer had no penalty and no bonus. The 11.6% cans had a bonus of 15 seconds before you even started the race.
People were looking for ways to profit the most of what was available. Which beer? Should I jump? What's the fastest way to drink? Respect to those who participated. Drinking a warm beer and then ride a bike isn't a smart thing to do, but we had a race going on here. Fast drinkers gained seconds on the first part, fast racers gained seconds on the last part. Jeffrey Tessemakers proved to be good at both. Quick drinker (11.6%), good jumper (cleared the launch ramp on the party bike without any problems) and a fast racer (he races BMX). His winning time was 33:60
seconds and claimed the Snafu 8.6 title for 2010.
Now get on the drinking program to get in shape for 2011.
