From what you've seen, was dirt jumping lifted to another level there?
-Alejandro Caro: With this year's invitation I got the DVD video of last year's contest and it looks that the Redbull Elevation is raising the bar of the sport. It looks like freestyle motocross on little bikes and a totally diferent format of dirt jumping competition. I really don't know what to expect, I'm sure Jay will make it bigger and faster

-Adam Baker: Not dirt jumping but dirt contests
-Corey Bohan: I dont think that dirt jumping was taken to another level but it for sure showed the way for future dirt contests. The course was like no other.......it was a riders comp, built and ran the way they should be.

-Benny Korthaus: I think it went to an other level because the course was different to every dirt set up before... Maybe not just trick wise, but the course was big....
-Dave Dillewaard: For sure, the jumps were massive and everyone was having a good time.
-Dave Dillewaard: For sure, the jumps were massive and everyone was having a good time.
-Anthony Napolitan: Of course, those jumps were bigger than any other jumps ever put in a contest.
-Corey Bohan: The hill was pretty fast and steep. It made for an interesting practice and contest no doubt. The downhill adds some crazyness to it for sure. Downhill + big doubles = long and fast.
-Benny Korthaus: It was kinda hard for me last year, because I didn't ride dirt at all...I never had that much pressure on my body taking off from a dirt lip....But I think I'm ready for this year's comp and I hope to show some stuff....
-Dave Dillewaard: I haven't hit them yet but I can't wait to just do flick outs on all of them.
-Anthony Napolitan: Well I didn't get to cruise down the hill and hit all the jumps but I'm sure it was amazing.
When you make it to the last jump at the bottom with all those people there, how fast is your adrenaline pumping?
-Corey Bohan: Hitting the step down at about 80 miles an hour and then launching off an 8ft lip is nuts within itself.......so to have a big crowd there filling the arena is pretty crazy......they're loud, it gets you pretty pumped up to get back to the top of the Mt and do it again... -Benny Korthaus: I didn't make it to the last jump, because I had some bike problems and just 30 min of practice
-Dave Dillewaard: I'm sure it will be going off.
-Dave Dillewaard: I'm sure it will be going off.
Do you think the Elevation comp should be an annual event or should more dirt jump comps use this format?
-Alejandro Caro: I think all the dirt jump comps will be more on a trail style, with bigger jumps, and maybe, will be more ineresting for the media as well, and that will be good for the sport.
-Adam Baker: It would be cool if there where more dirt contests with the same layout but it wouldn't make it as special. Christmas comes once a year.
-Corey Bohan: Without a doubt this contest needs to be annual. The amount of talk and attention this event gets from all the dirt riders is enough evidence itself. I think all dirt courses should be mixed up like Elevation has done.......

-Benny Korthaus: I think it would be cool if Elevation stays as an annual event for a while, because then it is something special, but in the futher I can see jumps like this at more events...
-Dave Dillewaard: It should be an annual event. I hear it's the best dirt comp ever so why not make it every year. Dirt jump comps should always be this format, no 1 run count stuff, that's just lame.

-Anthony Napolitan: I think that this contest should happen every year
-Alejandro Caro: Definitely Cory Nastazio, he has been riding so good.
-Adam Baker: I am always a big fan of Corey Bohan -Corey Bohan: It's anyones game really. TJ, Nyquist, Parslow, Mackay, Nasty.........the list goes on.......only time will tell.
-Benny Korthaus: Anyone who is entering the comp can actually win .....but I think Nasty is hungry ....
-Dave Dillewaard: Corey Bohan, Nyquist, Nasty, Parslow all tied for first.
-Anthony Napolitan: Luke Parslow or Cory Nastazio
Are you getting wasted at the afterparty?
-Alejandro Caro: I'm sure I will have a few Vodca Rebull
-Adam Baker: Yeah it is my 26th birthday!
-Corey Bohan: Yes.....plus I'm gonna wear my wig for extra points and extra free drinks.
-Benny Korthaus: Maybe you never know, but at the moment I like to focus on my riding.....you can not ride those jumps with a hang over.....there is no place for mistakes and you have to stay concentrated over 2 days....and of course after the comp you can do what you wanna do....
-Dave Dillewaard: I think I am wasted already
-Dave Dillewaard: I think I am wasted already
-Anthony Napolitan: Well it's Canada, why not.
