Even though Ryan doesn't seem to be the true trails rider that it takes to ride these jumps, he's got the tricks that the judges are looking for. He had a bad crash in practice (you really don't want to crash on these big sets) but put i together like Ryan can. I believe the judges are Biz (injured still with a messed up leg), Ryan Barrett (injured with a shattered elbow), Matt Beringer and trail king Dave Osato. I'm stoked Paul Kintner made it too in 18th. He rode really well and was as wasted I as was when they announced the results tonight. Good thing I don't have to ride tomorrow but he does. Rob Darden was on the bubble and got 21st but he's got some JD7 support and wasn't too bummed about it. He rode well but the level of the top dirt jumping guys was so high that even Rob Darden did not qualify. It's been good times so far. The finals are scheduled for tomorrow but before that I'll be going back into town to meet up with friends I don't get to see every day. Over and out.
