With three major BMX events going on this weekend, FATBMX has landed in the South of France for the tenth edition of the FISE. Also here are Josh Nendza, Dave Freimuth, Max Vincent and 2005 winner John Heaton next to a fair bunch of European pros and some Japanese import on the flatland side. The street course is brand new and actually very interesting for the tech riders. We can't wait to see the pros shred the place to pieces. The dirt jumps look good too and it's hard to argue with the 18 meter wide Red Bull (Vertical) ramp. Riders are being flown in from the LG comp in Amsterdam to ride the beast on Sunday. The flatland takes place at the same asphalt surface but the mini spine contest is more of a joke with a three sheet wide mini at the entrance of the event site. This leaves space for improvement in years to come.
Expect FATBMX to post updates over the weekend and with a bit of luck we'll get you the 411 on the LG comp in Amsterdam and the Dew Tour in Denver as well.
