As always, fellow countryman and 2005 and 06 runner-up, Ben Wallace, was hot on his heals in France and will no doubt bring something out of his bag for the NASS stage.
Also set to make more headlines is 22-year-old Venezuelan Daniel Dhers. The 2006 Dew Tour Park series and LG Action Games winner was a crowd favourite and will be looking to improve on his third place at stage one.
The Braun CruZer mini-ramp, which will be assembled by a special team at the NASS, was recently used for an exhibition event at the Eurockéennes Music Festival in France.
Unfortunately Webb’s and sixth-placed stage one finisher Phil Aller’s (GBR) bikes were misplaced by their airline and they were unable to ride, however three other Braun CruZer Tour riders ripped up the ramp to the delight of a huge crowd.
Hopefully Webb and Aller will have been reunited with their bikes before stage two! Videos from Eurockéennes, including full-length interviews with Webb, Aller, Wallace, Chris Mahoney (GBR) and Barry Kohne (NED), can be found on www.freecaster.com along with the top three runs from the Braun CruZer Tour stage one.
Current standings in the Braun cruZer Tour are:
