There's Halloween in the States, but anywhere else there's Carnival; in Italy we have a big tradition for this festivity, just think at the Carnival of Venice or the parade in Viareggio, not to mention the Battle of the Oranges in Ivrea (Youtube this one!). But as long the best Carnival parade is still in Brazil, Alessandro Civera, the guy behind NoSoccer.com, organized a masked BMX jam at Parco Lambro pool in Milan: he threated to puncture bike tyres to anyone who woldn't show up in a carnival outfit, so a good part of the

60 riders were good dressed up and not scared to make fun of themself.

Man, Darth Vader, a paparazzi gorilla and many more; the park was crowded, and it wasn't that easy to ride with a cape getting stuck in your back wheel, so the mood was laid back, the beer was running down the bong, and still you could witness good tricks coming out here and there. The highlight of the day was Iuter bunnyhop contest: the winner was Gianmarco Moschin, reaching 104 cm, after a not so serious battle against all those kids showing their jumping skills for prizes and glory.
