Firstly I searched about flatland contests and could realize what they were needing, which were, respect, recognition and glamour. Following the way of German flatland contests I found a special place, which had a perfect granite floor, a bmxer DJ and a guy who dealt with artistic lights, to get a environment different and magic for technical job I put to work on that the ABBMX to run the contest. Here in BRAZIL we got the ABBMX which is the Brazilian association of bmx FreeStyle. Unfortunately I could not get any big sponsor although I got many support like the TV channel ESPN Brasil was present, Master Bikes a Brazilian bmx factory, Rodan rubs, Drac and Impact are bmx stores, ESZE clothes, those are companies who believe in our job. The contest was OPEN, everyone could compete, the main idea was show the power and as many flatlander as possible, the area is very big and just after 1 pm was crowded of athletes, many of them were amazed how big would be that contest, many compliments. I was proud, it was what I wanted. The judge format was created to respect their value, we draw lots the names between those who are participating to judge, but before the contest began we had a kind of class how to evaluate each run. Believe it, or not, it was perfect and successful. All the goals I had I could get, I'd like to thank everybody who worked to do that.
