How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Kenneth Tencio: Not that long, the longest trip was around 2 weeks, hitting 2 contests in Europe.
What was the best event you went to this year that gets your vote?
Kenneth Tencio: X-Games Boise, was such a good experience, I enjoyed my riding like never before.
What contest placing were you stoked on this year?
Kenneth Tencio: Wasn’t my best contest year but I was really stoked on my riding in the Nitro Games, Qualifying in 3rd, Budapest Fise 7th, and my Simple Session result finishing 8th.
What trick/move were you happy to pull for the first time this year?
Kenneth Tencio: I am stoked on the one hand rocket frontflip that I pulled during my last run at Nitro Games Qualifier
What BMX move stands out the most to you that somebody did this year?
Kenneth Tencio: Andreev Kostya always comes with something crazy.
Who had the best looking bike in 2017?
Kenneth Tencio: I love my yellow Eastern bike that was shining on the courses.
What was your worst injury in 2017?
Kenneth Tencio: I had a couple this year, actually I am hurt right now, but my mind is ready and I am recovery faster
Worst thing that happened while you’re on the road?
Kenneth Tencio: Nothing especial, but I hate when I feel home sick
How many flat tires did you have the past 12 months?
Kenneth Tencio: I would say around 15, haha.
Best meal you had?
Kenneth Tencio: China food haha, kidding
Best party you visited in 2017?
Kenneth Tencio: Not really a party boy, I can’t even remember the last time I was at a party.
Raddest person you got to hang out with this year?
Kenneth Tencio: Jake Leiva is my partner.
Best thing you saw in 2017?
Kenneth Tencio: My wife when I was about to get married haha.
Plans for 2018?
Kenneth Tencio: Nothing especial, focus on doing my best.
