What contest placing were you stoked on this year?
Lara Lessmann: Definitely about my 1st place at the Fise UCI Worldcup in Budapest. I've never rode with so many girls and it's always good to have the chance to ride with so many amazing girls together.
What trick/move were you happy to pull for the first time this year?
Lara Lessmann: I've learned many cool tricks this year. But I was very surprised about landing my first tailwhip.
What BMX move stands out the most to you that somebody did this year?
Lara Lessmann: The massive 720 double tailwhip from Kyle Baldock at X-Games.
Who had the best looking bike in 2017?
Lara Lessmann: I think Kriss Kyle had the best looking bike because it is always looking clean

What was your worst injury in 2017?
Lara Lessmann: I've smashed my knee 2 months ago and it still hurts sometimes. I’m pretty sure this is my worst injury this year...
Worst thing that happened while you’re on the road?
Lara Lessmann: I was very scared when I was flying back from China. The plane had turbulences during the flight, it was terrifying.
How many flat tires did you have the past 12 months?
Lara Lessmann: Too many.
Best meal you had?
Lara Lessmann: I've tried sushi for the first time and I didn’t know that it could be so delicious.
Best party you visited in 2017?
Lara Lessmann: The party is coming soon..
Raddest person you got to hang out with this year?
Lara Lessmann: I've met many cool people this year. It would be really hard for me to pick one specific. But I’m very happy to have Tobias Wicke by my side.
Best thing you saw in 2017?
Lara Lessmann: I’ve been in China about 1 month ago. Me and my friends went on a rooftop of a tall building in the center of Chengdu. I was able to see the whole city from the top. It was beautiful.
Plans for 2018?
Lara Lessmann: Having fun, travel to many different countries, finish my school, avoid to get injured.
