What contest placing were you stoked on this year?
Rebecca Berg: 2. place at Butcher Jam. I’m really stoked on how I rode there.
What trick/move were you happy to pull for the first time this year?
Rebecca Berg: A manual line that I’ve been working on for a long time.
What BMX move stands out the most to you that somebody did this year?
Rebecca Berg: Kriss Kyle did so many good things. I just love watching him ride.
Who had the best looking bike in 2017?
Rebecca Berg: Mine of course.

What was your worst injury in 2017?
Rebecca Berg: I broke my Fibula and cracked 3 ligaments in my foot. This happened 10 minutes before qualifiers in China.
Worst thing that happened while you’re on the road?
Rebecca Berg: People smoking in the hospital.
How many flat tires did you have the past 12 months?
Rebecca Berg: 4 times.
Best meal you had?
Rebecca Berg: Vapianos is always good!
Best party you visited in 2017?
Rebecca Berg: Some random garage party.
Raddest person you got to hang out with this year?
Rebecca Berg: I’m really happy that I could spend some time with Camila Harambour. We’re always having a good time riding. I also got to see a bunch of people I haven’t seen in ages! Thank you for the awesome days!
Best thing you saw in 2017?
Rebecca Berg: Seeing the womens class growing and progressing! We’ve been fighting for equality for a long time now, it seems like it finally pays off.
Plans for 2018?
Rebecca Berg: I hope I can recover fast and proper. I’m trying to hit all the Fise stops. For the rest of the year I plan to have a lots of fun with my family and friends.

Do you remember the first BMX event you went to this year and how did it go?
Rebecca Berg: My first event this year was the Vans Pro Cup in Malaga. It seemed like the whole Bmx scene went there and it was a blast. We did a girls jam and everybody killed it.
How many weekends/days were you away from home and at a BMX jam/contest or on tour?
Rebecca Berg: I was on the road for about 4 weeks in total.
