Today we went to Newport Beach to watch the clinic from Team Soil. It was the final day for the kids after a week of riding and learning about BMX. In the clinic they showed their parents the tricks they had learned and they got their certificate to show their approvements. I took some pictures of the kids and their bikes. One kid road a Diamond Back Silverstreak which was a true piece of history. The children looked happy and proud of what they had achieved. Besides the kids also the
Cordova brothers and
Dylan Stark showed what they could by doing a superman,
tailwhip, no-handed flip, nacnac seatgrab, 360-x-up, tables and lots more. Team Soil's
Ryan Brennan was on the mic and spread a positive BMX vibe to whoever was watching the show.
After de clinic we went to the beach which was only 10 seconds away. We got back to the car when our quarters ran out and the meter showed 0:00. We then went to Huntington Beach to swim there and watch the surfers. We took a quick look at the bowl for the Vans US Open which was just finished. A concrete bowl on the beach which has a bit of the Marseille Bowl lines with added extensions etc.
The paint had just dried up and practice is on the program for the upcoming days. We will be back for more HB action so stay tuned.
