Another day in paradise but this time we got up early for a session at the Vans park in Huntington Beach. The alarm went off at 06:30hr to beat the morning traffic. At 08:00am I was padded up and ready to go. Early for riding a concrete skatepark but well worth it when you know what's there to ride. The Vans park has a lot of street stuff to ride, from ledges in all sizes to rails that won't instantly kill you.
But still it was nice to cruise around the park and hit up the transition parts of the street course. I liked the roller and the wall which went around a palm tree.
Dakota Roche and
Codey Levesque showed up to film the last part of the Levesque Cult video. Vans TM
Jerry Badders and
Sean Methven were also present for the morning session. After an hour the sun came out and it became hot real quick.
The park is well built and has every rail an aspiring street dawg could wish for. The skate bowls look amazing but can only be ridden by Vans team riders and skateboarders of course. Being on Vans has its perks.
Thanks to
Jerry Badders, Sean Methven and everyone at Vans for setting up this session for FATBMX Kids.
