FUEL TV LAUNCHES iPHONE APP

FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, is excited to announce it's launched an interactive, media rich iPhone app. The app is available for free download through the iTunes app store. The content is syndicated from the Fuel.tv website and includes nine video podcast channels, updates from the FUEL TV blogs, and Twitter integration. There's also a community photo blog; FUEL TV show information, news updates, and schedules; and all of it can be seamlessly shared via a simple Twitter button. The app will also allow for streaming live events, and will be able to download

a selection of FUEL TV shows in the near future.

The FUEL TV app offers a community photo blog that allows users to upload their own pictures from their phone. The photos can also be shared on the Fuel.tv website and can be geo-tagged so users will see where the photos were posted geographically. The app will also let users opt-in to get message updates regarding live events, blog updates, breaking news, and new shows. There is also an entertaining memory game to help pass the time between swells.

"We're excited to launch this new app," says Patrick Perez, FUEL TV Director of New Media. "We've been working on creating something that really embodies the FUEL TV web site and we were really able to do that. Every aspect of FUEL TV is included, our shows, our blogs, our podcasts, tweets, they're all there. There's even an opportunity for fans to get involved by posting photos directly through the app. We're excited about including live streaming webcasts in the near future, making this app a must-have for any action sport fan."

The live webcasting will work with either WiFi or 3G and will be available for purchase without leaving the app .
