The digger will come back on Monday to finish it up and you can bet there will be an opening jam at some point this spring. Anyone interested in lending a hand, next Saturday (Jan. 23rd) we'll be digging all day. It's actually not too bad digging in the cold.

-News from Proper: Nothing revolutionary. It's a screw on hubguard that fits quite a few hubs including Proper and comes in a bunch of cool colours. Small enough not to stick out under the drop out on frames where they're pretty small (like a TTL). 7075. No need to spread the chainstays etc. More new 2010 colourways on grips, and bars on the Proper site.

-Congrats to Sophie, Andy and Max Zeiss on the birth of their daughter Ella. 53cm, 3640 grams and all good. Stoked.

-Went to a DMC concert in Helmond city last Sunday. No, Dennis McCoy wasn't rapping over here but DMC, from Run DMC. Album coming soon. Not sure if I can recommend that one.

-Harry Main will be off to Australia on Sunday to film his Nike 6.0/Mirraco partners in crime section. That's sunshine instead of snow for the Brit.

-Lloyd Ramsay did an interview with BMX Grub's Dustin Gries for FATBMX. Interesting read for those who are into the whole iphone app. stuff. By the way, Lloyd resigned from Leatt-Brace. Anyone got a good job to offer over there in SA?

-Again 7 people got their moment of fame in the FAT FAVs section. This week we had non other than Dave Voelker, Michi Sieren, Dave Mavro, Anthony Ramsey, David Reincke, Josh Cox and Wolfgang Penzler. -We linked up the FATBMX updates to Twitterfeed and Facebook. That way you know when we've actually got a post online if you check Twitter and Facebook more often than FATBMX and if you don't use the RSS feed. Webmaster Jos also made some adjustments on the mobile phone version of FATBMX. Try it! The FATBMX Fanpage was started last week. We're 18 fans short of reaching 1000 fans this first week. Not bad, not bad.... Maybe the Free Vans packages had something to do with it: They will go to: Michael Bohm, Tian Moses, Daniel Schumacher and if you become a FATBMX fan on Facebook within the next few minutes you have a chance to win some Vans goodies too.
