The apprentice will get to document the NKE6.0 Team throughout 2005/2006. Following the team at events throughout the UK, they will help updating the NKE6.0 website with news, rider profiles, images and mpegs. Great content for a portfolio!
As you could be working with some of the hottest pros out there, it’s only right that you are kitted out with some professional equipment. That’s why NKE6.0 had partnered up with Olympus to supply the successful candidate with a top of the range Olympus E-System camera which comes with waterproof housing. Specific training in how to operate the kit will also be given by Olympus to make sure the apprentice gets to grips with a serious piece of equipment.
NKE6.0 is looking for someone with a background and active interest in action sports culture who wants to expand their horizons by gaining experience in the media side of the industry. Experience in photography, film, design and production will all go towards shaping the apprentice’s own unique style.
Each entrant will need to submit two of their best pieces of work on CD. This will be either film (under 2 minutes long) or a folder of photographs (maximum 10 photos per file). The submission can either be 2 films, 2 folders or one of each.
Are you diligent, responsible and able to travel around the UK?
Do you believe you’ve got what it takes to make it in the media?
Then send your CD’s to:

Due to high demand, submitted entries will not be able to be returned, so all candidates are advised to make their own master copy. The top ten entrants will be contacted and will be called for a chat, where they will be invited to show a portfolio of their work.
The judging panel consists of representatives from NKE6.0, Olympus, and our media partners Adrenalin and Extreme.
