Arnette is proud to announce the release of two new sunglasses for Summer 2010 that will hit shops in July. Combining the best in modern street-styling with classic fashion influences, the Venkman and Blowout siphon creative inspiration from the bold attitudes and hard-charging lifestyles of Arnette’s influential team.
Both sunglasses feature high-grade polycarbonate lenses to block harmful UV light, with polarized lenses offered on select colorways for added protection. Additionally, frames are made with Grilamid nylon plastic which promotes lightweight wearability and maximum comfort.
The Venkman and Blowout are offered in a variety of rich and vibrant colorways to accommodate all tastes. Plus, for bonus style points, both frames come in a limited edition Black & White color combo featuring a covert graphic print on the inside temple.

A vintage-inspired style with plenty of swagger, the Venkman features a flexible nylon frame, metal logo plaques on the arms, mold injected hinges and 6D base polycarbonate lenses that come in polarized and non-polarized options, depending on frame color. The Venkman is available in Gloss Black, Matte Black, Gloss White, Striped Havana, Transparent Red, Transparent Dark Blue, and Black & White with a limited edition graphic temple print.
US MSRP: $89.95 / $119.95 (polarized)
The Blowout is a modern take on a classic silhouette that features large, rounded polycarbonate lenses, mold injected hinges, metal logo plaques on the temples and a flexible Grilamid frame. The Blowout’s oversized lenses are polarized on select frames, and this throwback style is offered in a range of vibrant colorways such as Gloss Black, Striped Havana, Red, Violet, Aquamarine, and Black & White with a limited edition graphic temple print.
