DC would like to congratulate all of its athletes on another year of great performances during Summer X Games 16. When it all was said and done the DC team took home eight medals in various Skate, Motocross and BMX events across the four-day competition held in Los Angeles, CA. "We couldn't be prouder of our athletes and their accomplishments at Summer X Games 16," said
Kelly Magrath, DC's VP of Marketing.
"Our athletes are constantly progressing their sports and it's great to see their efforts rewarded with such an honor as an X Games medal."
Venezuelan BMXer Daniel Dhers claimed his third X Games Gold medal ruling the BMX Freestyle Park at the L.A Live Event Deck on Saturday morning. He nailed moves including a double tail whip to Indian grab air, alley oop flair and corked out 720.
Later that day in his first X Games appearance, Andy Buckworth earned a Bronze medal in BMX Big Air after a tiebreaker 4th run had to be taken. Andy edged out fellow DC athlete Anthony
Napolitan with a double front flip to a flair to secure the Bronze.
