As of 11th of August, a full length show dedicated to Simpel Session will be airing on Extreme Sports Channel, the biggest action sports television channel in Europe. According to Mario Kalmre, the main organizer of Simpel Session, this is the first time that the festival has been scheduled to air a full length show on a major international TV channel. „Extreme Sports Channel is without doubt the most important and the most popular action sports TV channel on this side of the Atlantic, through which Simpel Session will reach around 25 million households across Europe, Middle East and even Africa,“ Kalmre noted. He pointed out, that Simpel Session has however gained some impressive air-time on international television before, as in the the last couple of years clips from the festival have been broadcast on FOX Sports, Fuel TV and MTV, reaching millions of viewers in the US.
“It’s a pleasure to be working with Simpel Session to bring some of the best BMX and skate action to our viewers. Simpel Session is
one of the biggest dates in the European action sports calendar and the show really brings the amazing atmosphere of the event to life, as
well as offering a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to put on such a major event,“ said
