Napolitan Earns First Title in BMX Dirt at Panasonic Open

Napolitan, 20, of Youngstown, Ohio, and Luke Parslow, 21, of Australia tied for first in the BMX Dirt final with best scores of 94.5 on their second runs. [url=//fatbmx.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1489]Napolitan[/url] won the tie-breaker with a 88.75 first run to Parslow’s 80.75. [url=//fatbmx.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1277]Corey Bohan[/url], 24, of Australia finished third at 93.75. Defending Dew Tour BMX Dirt champion [url=//fatbmx.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1093]Ryan Guettler[/url] failed to qualify for the finals.

“I’m so excited I can’t even explain it,” said Napolitan, who finished last in the 2005 Dew Action Sports Tour season standings. “This win means everything to me. Training at (Camp) Woodward (Pennsylvania) has improved my riding – trying things during the day and dreaming about them during the night.”
