Garrett Reynolds and Dennis Enarson. They will be competing on a course designed in part by Ryan Nyquist, who is also looking to bring his legendary status back to the BMX podium in 2011. Jamie Bestwick has dominated the Dew Tour’s BMX Vert ramp, winning the Dew Cup for six years straight. This year, many big names, including Simon Tabron, Chad Kagy and Steve McCann will be looking to dethrone him.
In addition to action-packed competitions, the weekend will also feature a free concert from Kid Cudi and The Cool Kids, taking place on the beach, just north of the Ocean City Pier on Saturday night, July 23. Friday night will have no shortage of excitement, with the Nike 6.0 Expression Session showcasing surf under the lights to the beat of a live set by Flosstradamus. The tow-at session will include surfers Kolohe Andino, Evan and Eric Geiselman and Ocean City’s own Vince Boulanger.

Running through the entire weekend, the Festival Village offers something for everyone attending the Dew Tour. Visit the Pantech tent to see the latest cell phone features and tag the digital graffiti wall, or get a haircut at Paul Mitchell. The Dew Tour athletes of tomorrow can start practicing at the Camp Woodward mini skatepark.
Tickets for the Dew Tour Pantech Open in Ocean City are available through Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.com or allisports.com/dew-tour. Saturday and Sunday Action Zone passes cost $100 and include priority reserved seating, Dew Tour swag, athlete autograph sessions, merchandise discounts and Pepsi product. General admission tickets are $29 on Saturday and Sunday and include reserved seating to all finals events. General admission tickets for Friday’s semi-finals are $24. Access to the Festival Village, Surf Contest and concerts is free.
Entering its seventh year, the top athletes in the world will take part in the 2011 Dew Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded at season’s end to champions in each of the five disciplines. The 2010 Dew Cup champions include Chaz Ortiz (skateboard park), Pierre-Luc Gagnon (skate vert), Daniel Dhers (BMX park), Jamie Bestwick (BMX vert) and Brandon Dosch (BMX dirt).
