"Whilst BMX continues to grow the sport is becoming more & more divided. The sub categories that make up BMX: Street, Park, Dirt, and Vert, Racing are almost becoming sports in their own right. It used to be commonplace that a typical BMX rider would ride all disciplines. But over time & as the sport progresses this is being lost to riders focussing more on one element especially in the contest environment. The concept of Empire Of Dirt is all about finding out who is the most well rounded Pro rider. The course will be the most challenging ever seen; riders will have to think before riding. It will definitely not be a case of just turning up and“ reeling off the repertoire” which has become common in contests of late. When riders first looked upon the Empire Course 2008 jaws dropped, we intend to produce a course that will have the same impact in 2012"
