At each stop along the way the level of competition has been raised and the anticipation has been building. With Dallas right around the corner we went to the athletes to get their thoughts on what the World Championships would have in store.
- John Parker – After being hurt and missing X-Games, Parker is back and looking to make up for lost time. “I’m glad to be back on my bike and competing. I have a lot of new stuff that I’ve learned but not been able to do anywhere but Woodward.”
-Koji Kraft – “I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m just riding my bike.”
- Kevin Robinson – Has been riding all year with torn ligaments in his shoulder but he hasn’t let that slow him down “My shoulder hurts but I’m going to have it fixed over the winter. I still want to put the double flair in my run but it just hasn’t all come together yet. Maybe in Dallas, we’ll see.”
All roads this year have led to Dallas and the LG Action Sports World Championships. With the largest per sport pro purse on the line athletes will be pulling no punches once the wheels hit the skatelite. The level of riding this year has pushed these athletes so far that they are just as full of anticipation of what will be unleashed in Dallas at the Reunion Arena on October 27-29 as the rest of us.
