“the planet is our playground”. etnies is working towards the goal of being carbon neutral by 2020, and with this “design the next eco tee facebook competition” etnies keeps taking steps in the right direction, one step at the time. Emphasizing on the successful and inspiring “ Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree” project this competition both embraces their consumers and educates them at the same time to think about our planet. Instead of following the social media progression, etnies has decided to take first steps and develop an interactive Facebook application for the launch of this ‘Design a Eco Tee contest’.
To explain the app and application etnies has worked with their worldclass actionsport athletes to make a video that explains the competition.
The challenge in “design the next etnies eco tee contest” is to create creative designs based upon applications and designs around the planet and environment. The 2 designs that received the most votes on the Facebook application will go into production. On top of that a team of etnies designers, will select 2 designs which will also go in production to be part of the etnies Spring 2013 line!
As well as the 4 winners having their design featured in the collection, the design with the most votes will win 5 pairs of etnies Eco Jameson shoes and a handmade wooden surfboard.
The competition ends on Wednesday June 6th 2012
How do you enter the comp?
-Go to the etnies europe facebook page (apps.facebook.com/etnies-tee/)
-Create your own design
-Upload your design
-Get as many votes for your designs as possible
-The top 2 voted designs will go into production
-Etnies designers will choose 2 designs, which will go into production
