Based in Los Angeles, Lavar is a clothing company that originated from BMX and street culture. It was founded by professional BMX rider Mike Ardelean and designer/artist Jurjen Semeijn in late 2004. Since then Lavar has been producing seasonal collections inspired by life in Los Angeles. His achievements include the art for the ESPN X-games skate street course in 2006, the cover of RideBMX and various expositions around the Los Angeles area.
