LG European events cancelled for 2007

The European leg of the LG Action Sports Tour has been cancelled for 2007. Jason Hines, Competition and Demo Events Director explains: "As you are probably aware, LG is putting forth many marketing initiatives, including the launch of the “Prada”. Due to the limited resources available to other marketing areas, as well all of the dates this summer being gone, we are not producing the full European leg of the World Tour this summer. "

Jason continues: "Please know that we still consider the European scene as an important part of our tour and we value the hard work everyone in Europe has put in to make the past events successful. We are committed to the growth of the tour in Europe and we will be back!

Also, to honor our commitment to the European scene we will still be qualifying a significant number of European athletes in all three sports to the LG Action Sports Championships in Dallas, TX which will take place November 9 – 11. The qualifying criteria is TBD.

Again, thank you so much for your support over the last two years and hopefully we cross paths this summer. If not, we definitely will in 2008!"
