More than 2.000 square meters for three BMX competitions: Park, Dirt and Flatland Sergio Layos in BMX Dirt and Viki Gomez for Flatland are the first riders confirmed Flatland competition will be part of BMX Flatland World Circuit. The city of Barcelona known for riders around the globe as a huge playground for its numerous options that offers to ride will bring together a high-level competition aiming to recuperate the spirit of the first four editions, 2008-11, which positioned this competition
as a reference in the European scene.

Matthias Dandois in Flat, have been some big-names that came to Barcelona on past editions of Extreme Barcelona.
This year Extreme Barcelona will be happening on June 28th and 29th at Parc del Forum, minutes away from the center of the city with public transport. And this year is looking even better with a substantial increase of the prize money that will rise up to 15.000€ for the BMX Park comp, 10.000€ for BMX Dirt and 8.000€ for Flatland.
After a two year break of this action sports event, the organization wants to recuperate the spirit of past Extreme Barcelona’s were the connection between athletes, fans and an unbeatable location created amazing atmosphere. Park competition will be on a 1.200m2 Central Park located in the natural stand with capacity for 3.500 people.
Sergio Layos is the first athlete confirmed for BMX Dirt contest that will have three big jumps combined with smaller obstacles as wallrides. The Spanish rider is an international reference in the BMX scene that has competed all around the world with great results and his undeniable style. The third competition will be Flatland that for this edition will be part of the BMX Flatland World Circuit, assuring the participation of the best international riders.
Viki Gomez, one of the top riders that battle for first places in all Flatland competitions he goes to is the first athlete confirmed.
With a course design that changes every year, no doubt the show will go off this year more so than ever. Not to be missed whether you're in Barcelona or via the live webcast since the competition will be broadcasted by streaming worldwide! Following the mark of previous editions the event will be live broadcasted by Esport3, a national TV.
As a new feature for this year, EIM Solutions will be responsible for the Scoring, Data & Results Service and for the TV Broadcast Live Graphics. The German-based company is a leader in the industry and official supplier of services scoring major sporting events like X Games, Red Bull Empire of Dirt, Nike 6.0 Air & Style or the Oakley Air & Style Beijing China, among other international events. Also, in the path of previous editions, the event will feature an extensive program of activities for the public as open skateparks, a Skimboard area, pump track or a Big Air bag among others.

Among the events organized by Seven, emphasize such as Tony Hawk & Friends European Tour 2010 in Barcelona, or the final of the international Red Bull Skate Arcade 2013, as the previous four editions of Extreme Barcelona from 2008-2011.
