BMX Cologne Superbowl, Dirt and flatland set-ups for 2014.

With only three disciplines this year's Cologne contest has slimmed down a bit. But that can't stop the party. Here are some images of the set up: Superbowl, Dirt and Flat.

SUPERBOWL: The Bowl is already there, ready to be flooded by our participants with lots of style and flow. In addition to the spins and big tricks, the big thing here is to find the perfect line. It is surrounded by stands, so we have a stadium atmosphere, with the

fans close to the action and the riders as the center of attention. The Bowl will become the BMX Cologne Superbowl.

DIRT: The Dirt discipline has over the years surely become an emotional highlight in the Jugendpark. Every BMX fan should experience the finale under the 'Zoobrücke' at least once. In Markus Hampel, we have engaged the most innovative dirt shaper in Europe. He and his crew have been working with us to plan and build the Dirt line for more than 10 years.

FLATLAND: It took us a while to figure out how to present Flatland in a fresh way compare to the previous years, when we were using a tent to cover the Flatland area. And what we came up with is

very colorful and different indeed. Our Original 80’s Bumper Car ar

ena will be the Flatlanders playground for the weekend. Flatland will now not only be a sporting highlight, but also an optical highlight of the event. As you will notice, the BMX COLOGNE will hold more changes in store. Also new will be the crew in charge of running the event. No other than the uncrowned King MC Mr. Scott O’Brien the mastermind behind Voodo Jam in the USA and French Flatland legend Alex Jumelin are helping out to meet all participants’ expectations.
