On July 20th, 2014 the world’s best street riders meet up in Munich/Germany for the BMX STREET RINK and it’s going to be insane! The one-of-a-kind course designed by Brian Kachinsky and Jeff Klugiewicz is already in the works. Big names such as
Garrett Reynolds, Chad Kerley or local
Bruno Hoffmann already marked their spot on the starting list and now the last six international riders are confirmed.
Two more riders from the US are coming across the pond to ride
i
n the historic ambience of the Olympic Park.
Ty Morrow, who dropped an insane edit with the “Fiend”-crew last week, and
Broc Raiford can’t wait to ride the BMX STREET RINK. Broc:
“It's going to be pure madness judging by the list of riders. The course looks absolutely insane as well. I'm looking forward to a great time and experiencing Germany!” And he sure knows how to handle ramps designed by
Brian Kachinsky, as he took the win at ‘Secret Recipe’, the last BMX Street contest in Brian’s former private indoor spot ‘The Bakery’.
With UK resident
Ben Lewis and
Ed Zunda from Latvia we’ll have two of Europe’s most famous street riders in the Olympic Ice Stadium. These crowd-pleasers have some of the most technical tricks on lock and will bring their very own style to the BMX STREET RINK.
Courage Adams and
Anthony Perrin might not sound familiar to everyone, but make sure to keep an eye on these two up-and-coming shredders. Spaniard Courage recently took the win at the Street Series event in Barcelona, destroying every spot put in front of him, while Frenchman Anthony made himself a name with a couple of banging edits during the last year.
T
his is how the complete riders list looks like:
Garrett Reynolds, Chad Kerley, Dennis Enarson, Ty Morrow, Dakota Roche, Broc Raiford (all USA), Dan Lacey, Alex Kennedy, Ben Lewis (all UK), Bruno Hoffmann, Daniel Tünte (both Germany), Simone Barraco (Italy), Ed Zunda (Latvia), Courage Adams (Spain), Anthony Perrin (France).
So much talent, creativity and dedication in one place! It’s going to be wild! One last spot will be given away during a national qualifier the day before the BMX STREET RINK. Germany’s best street riders will battle to compete against these 15 heavy hitters.
