“We’re very excited about this new partnership with Bawls Guarana here at Tangent,” said Tangent CEO Rich Pelton. “It’s allowing us to add a national caliber factory racing team to our already popular Tangent “Cartel” movement and at the same time increase visibility for Bawls Guarana out here on the West Coast.”
Throughout the 2007 and 2008 racing season, members of Tangent/BAWLS/Fly will sport exclusive BAWLS-branded gear including customized Tangent/BAWLS/Fly helmets! The team’s Tangent “Cartel” Pit Area and Riders Pro Shop - a fixture at most ABA Nationals - will be stocked with ice cold BAWLS Guarana at national and regional races on the West Coast. Tangent/BAWLS/Fly will also be promoted to the BAWLS BMX online community on www.BAWLStyle.com with a team profile and regular race and news updates.
“We’ve assembled what we think is a great team of riders that will soon be competing in the factory ranks at most West Coast National events,” added Pelton. “You can expect big things and some great racing from this new partnership. We’d also like to thank all the rest of our sponsors that have helped us get this far: Fly Racing, Intense, Sun Rims, Thompson, FSA, Shimano, and CLIFBars.”
Tangent, founded in 1992, is a highly-successful brand in BMX racing boasting worldwide distribution and is a title sponsor of the American Bicycle Association (ABA).
