Award categories up for grabs in the first Boooom Fest include Best Editing Sequence, Best Action Sequence, Best Aerial Footage and Best Film. The winner of Best Film will receive a full Wireless Multi-Room system from Polk as well as a €7,500 cash prize from EpicTV. A special prize* for the Biggest Impact will be awarded to the highest quality video which racks up a spectacular amount of views on EpicTV.com. Other prizes include €10,000 of Euros worth of gear from the likes of OnePiece, La Sportiva, DJI and Arc’Teryx.
The festival will conclude with VIP screenings in both London and Chamonix, attended by media and industry experts.
