Nineteen-year-old BMX Park competitor Mike Spinner won the 2007 PlayStation Trick of the Year after fans voted that his 1080, three complete rotations, at the Vans Invitational was the best trick of the 2007 season. Spinner, of Miami, Fla., was the first athlete to ever successfully land the trick in a BMX Park competition. “It feels amazing and this is something that I have worked so hard for,” said Spinner, who will receive $10,000 for winning the award. “I did it at one of the best and most important events of the year because I also won the event. It’s just been crazy to have all this happening in my rookie year on the Dew Tour.”
