Bojangles’ BMX Fest Returns To Greenville for Fifth Year

The Fifth Annual Bojangles’ BMX Fest presented by Maxxis Tires and Hilton Hotels will take place at Five Points Plaza at the corner of 5th Street and Evans Street in Uptown Greenville on Saturday, November 14 between 10am and 7pm. Featuring the final stop of the 2015 Trans Jam BMX Contest Series, Bojangles’ BMX Fest will welcome professional and amateur freestyle BMX riders from across the globe as they compete for

money and prizes in three different disciplines: Park (Ramps), Flatland, and, new for 2015, a Rail Jam.

Spectators will enjoy riders flipping and whipping through the air on large scale ramps and executing difficult technical ground maneuvers. In addition, Bojangles’ BMX Fest will host a number of vendors, exhibitors, and the KidzVille section. Fun for the entire family, the event will feature free entertainment such as the Hyper Bikes Kids Art Contest, fueled by the Pitt County Arts Council and Emerge, in which the winner will receive a 20” BMX bicycle. Cocoa the Clown, Stories With Sarah, contests and giveaways will be a part of the event throughout the day.

Bojangles’ BMX Fest is a family-friendly event and free to the public. In addition to the variety of aforementioned activities, guests will also have the chance to participate in special events, visit vendors and exhibitors, watch roaming entertainment, witness some of the riders, many as seen on America’s Got Talent, battling for the pro purse, get autographs and meet their favorite pros.

The Fifth Annual Bojangles’ BMX Fest is also supported by the City of Greenville, the Greenville Pitt-County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Hyper Bicycles, 99.5 WXNR, v103.3 WMGV, and the King BMX Stunt Show.

The official Bojangles’ BMX Fest After-Party will be hosted at Carolina Ale House on Saturday night from 9pm-midnight complete with live music from Backseat Romeo.

The Trans Jam BMX Contest is open to all registrants, ages, and skill levels. Pros will compete for a $3,500 Pro Purse, while amateur classes compete for a wide array of prizes.
