FAT Friday is going to be a new section on FATBMX. Websites do get impersonal when all they do is post press releases, stolen photos and video clip links. On FAT Friday we'll give you a lookback on what went on that week or what's ahead in the weekend following the FAT Friday. You probably noticed that I missed the "deadline" of the first episode and I'm sure I'll miss a few along the way but it's an attempt and I hope you dig it.
Looking back on the first week of January I can say we received some funny X-mas cards from you guys out there. Thanks for the best wishes and if I forgot to personally send you a card I'm sorry, you must have been the only one.

Who would have ever thought that we would have a
riding video of
Fish on FATBMX. The guy who was featured in many Redline ads, before they had a decent team, posted a video on Youtube of himself doing a long ass hang-5. Guinness book of records type of style. Talking about Guinness,
Big Island and wife
Annie are expecting their first child. As long as Annie is dealing with the pregnancy, Big decided to not drink any Guinness. I don't know who has it worse. Congrats to both of them.
Back to the Guinness book of records.
Robbie Madison is the new record holder of the long distance motorcycle jump. He
jumped a CR500 over 300 feet on new year's eve in Las Vegas.
Evel is dead but Robbie is here.
We're sticking to the MX thing here for a minute.
Dave Mirra has caught the bug again and built himself a
dope ride. He might be late getting ready for some mud racing at Anaheim 1 but he'll have fun on that thing.

We're happy to finally have an
interview up with
McGoo. Other people are digging it too as shown by the number of hits it received so far. McGoo has been involved in BMX longer than any of us and he can claim that he has fired
Bob Haro. Who else can say that? It's an interesting read for sure. Don't miss it.
For people wanting to send stuff for a review or whatever, please note that the FATBMX address has changed. New and current address is:
FATBMX, Middellaan 31, 5708 ZE Helmond, Netherlands. BMX Plus!, please update the address so we can do real reviews of your mag again.
Oh yeah, if you haven't seen it yet, I got an interview on
Woozy.
Stephen Murray is a tough dude. He has had to deal with several disasters but is staying strong. He can still use support though so don't give up on that. According to British BMX racing legend
Dale Holmes, Stephen has not cried once since his bad crash in Cleveland. I can't say I didn't. His dad
Jeff wrote down the
latest update on Stephen and you must read it. You have no right to complain next time you slip a pedal.
As always, we welcome contributions to the FATBMX site, even if it's just about your local jam and you live in Israel. BMX is worldwide to us and FATBMX is a platform to help it grow. Bookmark the
site if you haven't already, link to FATBMX if you run your own website and we'll link you back. Visit our sponsors because they make it possible for us to give you something to read every day. Hopefully next Friday you will receive episode two of FAT FRIDAY.
