It's time to get the calendars out and save the date of 4 June 2016 for the 040 Invitational Spine Ramp contest to be held in the city centre of Eindhoven, Netherlands. Europe's better pro miniramp riders have been invited to come ride on the brand new 22m x 10m x 2m spine mini built by 040BMXPARK. The double coping spine ramp will have a sub box and a wall also and will be set up on the 18 Septemberplein in the city centre during the E-Moves Urban Culture Festival.
The one-day contest will kick off with an open qualifier at 10:30hr followed by practice till 13:00hr. With € 5000,= prize money up for grabs to be divided by the top seven riders, it will be an interesting spectacle in front of a big crowd. The competition starts at 13:00hr and is free to attend. Around 18:00hr the first winner of the 040 Invitational Spine Ramp contest will be announced. Nearby 040BMXPARK will be open after the contest. With so many good
riders in town, you don't want to miss that session. The Vans Illustrated video will be premiered at the 040BMXPARK on Saturday evening.
The following riders have already announced their presence: Freestyle Games champion Tom van den Bogaard (NL), Red Bull riders Kostya Andreev (RUS), Daniel Wedemeijer (NL) and Paul Thölen (Germany), German brothers Tobias and Dominik Freigang, Kenneth Tancré (Belgium), Jack Clark, Cam Peake, Tom Justice and Alex Coleborn from Great-Britain and all the way from Canada and certainly wanting to impress in Eindhoven: Joel Bondu.
