This FAT Friday (#4) is coming to you from Tallinn, Estonia. We have arrived here for the Simpel Session contest. Pim van den Bos, Paul and I took a train to Amsterdam to catch our flight. In the waiting zone we met up with Morgan Wade and Will Stroud and in the hotel lobby the chaos had already started. I'll try to sum up some news for you in short:
-Paul's Boutique did some business at the bar and is now the Benelux distributor for Team Blowin' It.
-
Scotty Cranmer made it and he wasn't sleeping. Practice is in an

hour and everyone is looking forward to that.
-Course designer
Nate Wessel had an easy job here again. The local ramp builders have done a great job and Nate only had to adjust a few things left and right.
-
Daniel Dhers caught something last night
-
Rob Darden is here and still riding his HARO but not representing the company any longer.
-5 English guys got stuck in the elevator
-
Tony Watkinson put his DK together
-
Diogo Canina is out with an injury and the plane left for Estonia with an empty seat.

-After trying to get to Estonia twice before, it still didn't work out for
TAJ this time. Flight changes, bad weather, and more BS were the reason that he just went home instead.
-
Paul, Pim and
I won the Karaoke contest last night.
-Odyssey's Electronical video is done, but won't be shown here in Tallinn. Odyssey is having their own premiere first.
-
Ty Morrow has a black eye
-
Jim Cielencki and
Karl Poynter spent a week in Barcelona before coming to Tallinn. From the sun to the snow.
Morgan Wade will do the same, but in reverse. Barcelona for him next week.
-
Brad Simms is going to stay in Europe for a few weeks. He's going to the RIDE IT contest in Latvia next month and plans to stay around in the Estonia, Latvia, Poland area. He's a big guy, he'll be okay.
Be sure to check out the
Simpel Session live on the computer.
Stephen Murray is on a training program trying to get movement back in his body. He must love the work out and everyone here wishes him good luck in the exercises.
We will repeat this: there is money available for projects like
these . Try to make it happen. You're paying taxes too.
2006 Dew Tour Dirt champion
Anthony Napolitan has a younger
brother and we interviewed him here on FATBMX this week. Who pulls more girls? Who does better inverts? Who wins in the video games? Who does the homework?
We'd like to welcome
KHE Bikes and Mankind to the sponsors of FATBMX. That
Mankind banner is awesome.
Practice is coming up. I'll pass this on to
DJ and
Lloyd Ramsay. See you next week.
BdJI'm sure when you get this you fuckers will be in Tallinn?! lol!

Mr Cooke lets them out but I know its late April Early May. Are these 2 the first UK based riders on LET?
Mark Webb has got himself a trip to the Asian X-Games in Shanghai in April, this years event has been bought forward due to the Olympics.
Alessandro Barbero went last year & won the Street & Best Trick event plus, according to the person I spoke with was quite the cassanova with lil' Chinese girlies swooning outside his hotel & calling him "superman"! Looks like Haro's
Dennis Enarson is the first US based Pro to confirm he'll be in Cologne for this years Masters... If you're into tattoo's & TV then check out the new series of L.A ink which has so far featured

From
Nick Valencia:
"Been traveling to alot of jams, sessions, races, and all that stuff. Staying relevant without being on my bike physically. As some would say Im puttin' in work son! haha Surgery is scheduled for February 8th, ACL reconstruction, MCL stitching and meniscus will be cleaned up as best as possible. Looking at anywhere between 2-6 months to be back to 110% but the surgeon says with my 2month of therapy I should heal quickly and come back very strong. Oh if we can squeeze in my new race sponsor somehow www.bmxhex.com woot woot shameless plug I swear... They have jumped on board even though I'm hurt and have supported me this season and whenever I get back to riding I will be doing it under their new colors- attached is the new World 8 jersey they just made for me so I'll be looking good when I get back. Big Thank You to all the guys that helped with the jam we had, and all my sponsors without making it a commercial thanks a ton guys from both me and my family because the donations really helped and got me through it all. Umm what else just been chillin got the road bike dialed in so I dont forget how to pedal haha. 15 miles a day, no spandex though."
-The guy you hear at events and see working at DK,
Zack Yankush, has his site up and running again. Check out www.catfishcatfish.com and amongst the tales of high jinx there is even one in there involving Bart.
-Not BMX related but Bart and I are motocross fans: keep an eye out for my buddy
Tyla Rattray on the MX2 GP circuit. Tyla has ditched the 16 number board and upgraded to a 4. 4 equals the Goat in the US so perhaps it will mean the Rat in EU. When I saw him last he was looking really good on his bike and will give them a run for their money.

-Unfortunately I have lost my work visa in America and have to leave ASAP. I am returning to South Africa to work in the family media business but will still contribute whatever I can to Fatbmx. While there I will be working with my new lawyers to get another work visa for the States. A huge thank you to Bart for all his support, WTP for the props, sjbmx.com, all my awesome friends and my Mom/Dad/Brother for all their support in everything that I do. No matter what hand I am ever dealt BMX is always there for me. See you soon.
