VANS TEAM RIDER MATTHIAS DANDOIS WINS IBMXFF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016

Last weekend saw Matthias Dandois complete another series of unstoppable runs to claim the IBMXFF world championships at Nass Festival, England. Matthias said, “It was a big goal of mine for this season to win the worlds so I’m really happy to of done so”. “ It was my fifth world title in my career and I still can’t quite believe it”.

The top three athletes on the day performed three flawless runs which was remarkable considering the windy weather throughout. Although Matthias took the overall prize a special mention must go

to Takahiro Ikeda and Matt Wilhelm to pushing him all the way.

Matthias describes 2016 so far, “ It’s definitely been the most productive year of my career! I'm healthy again after a bad ankle injury in 2014 so I've just been traveling the world creating video and photo projects (Puerto Rico and California for Haro bikes, Guam and Iceland for Vans and a bunch of projects in France for Red Bull), as well as contests including a 1st place at the FISE World Series in Montpellier, but the highlight so far is world championship title without doubt!"
