Diamondback Signs Brandon Turner
Kent, WA –
Diamondback is extremely pleased to announce the addition of Brandon Turner to its team roster. Brandon will soon be working with Diamondback and the rest of the team to develop a new 20.75â€? ‘boneless’ (wishboneless seat tube / seat stay juncture) traditional BMX frame. Brandon is as thrilled to be part of the team as Diamondback is to have him on it.
Brandon and the rest of the team will soon bring all of this excitement together and hit the road in an RV to tour the great Northwest to shoot Diamondback’s ‘O6 catalog.
Diamondback Marketing Guy Trevor Knesal stated, “We’re psyched to have Brandon on the team. He came highly recommended and is everything we were looking forâ€?.
Second Accomplice Released Unchanged
I have a correction to pass along to you regarding our Accomplice frame. In earlier correspondence about the “new / “second generation Accomplice, I mentioned that it would feature our new “Fenwick Bottom Bracket (which utilizes a threaded shell that is bigger around than a euro BB, bit smaller than a standard / ‘Merican shell) and that the new version of the frame would come with a complete BB kit that would include bearings to accommodate 19mm axels as well as a set to accommodate the larger 22mm axels.
Well, I just learned that the new frame does not feature the new Fenwick BB. The frame is no different than the original 21â€? TT Accomplice other than the fact that it now does come with a BB kit (for 19mm axels only). As you know, I’ve been shouting from the rooftops about our new 2nd generation Accomplice, so I’m now returning to those same rooftops to make this correction known. Your help and understanding with this would be greatly appreciated.
