-We are stoked to publish a story about the POW house that Chris Moeller wrote in 1994. It had never been published but for people who have ever visited the BMX house in Westminster it is a must read. We split the story in a couple of episodes and the first part is already up. Alex Leech over in the UK visited the house too and sent over some great pics to go with part two of the POW story. "You sit on the photos for 14 years and they finally are getting used." said Alex. Damn right.
-Tribute to Evel Knievel. The pics say it all. NOT SCARED!
-Mike Spinner has been flying all over the place. The good thing about riders spending time at the airports or onthe planes is that they have time to fill in the answers for an interview or a bike check. Mike's interview is only a few hours fresh. Don't touch the screen, the ink might still be wet.
-We've been sitting on those FAT-'zines for over 20 years and they're finally making it on the web. Issue 00 is online and tomorrow you can read issue 01 of FAT-'zine.
-An inside look on what it's like to work in the BMX industry was given by Dean Hearne in his FATBMX Bizznizz interview. Dean is a busy cat and by reading his interview you can see why.

-Carhartt is doing some cool things with their team. They tell one of their riders to invite 3-5 guys of the team to his hometown to show them around. They can ride the spots together, go out together, etc. First guy on the team to invite a few guys was Perico. He lives in Malaga, Spain. Home of Ruben Alcantara, Javier Ortega and a lot of other talented riders like Perico himself. Arthur Dietrich, Paddy Gross and Stefan Lantschner visited Perico and had a good time. Read about it here.

- From DJ: My job is going to kill me!! BMX has been pretty much non excistent over the past week or so pretty much nothing to tell dude....
Karting was cool though, Ben Wallace won with Zach Shaw 2nd & Shaun Chip 3rd! Wallace was a champion karter before BMX, won 2 or 3 championships & only ever lost 1 race & that was due to engine failure!
And that's it for FAT Friday number 9. A week in BMX. If BMX stops right here we won't have anything to report about next week. That won't happen. You know it. Enjoy the weekend. See you next week.
