AXXYS, a youth band, will perform at Mission Valley YMCA skate and BMX extravaganza benefiting “Grind for Life,” an organization helping people with cancer on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. The event is located at 3401 Clairemont Drive. An impressive list of pros will be riding together at the event to include BMX legends Matt Hoffman, Dennis McCoy, and more. If you live in the SD area and want to hang out with Mat and DMC while a band is playing in the background, you better start making your plans for Saturday now. Oh yeah, Tony Hawk will be there too.
