-The Revolcon contest series has kicked off in Mexico. Alex Vazquez and his crew brought over Senad Grosic and Tobias Wicke (RedBull was a sponsor of the event) and showed them around. They did a special show at a school to promote the Revolcon BMX comp and from the looks of it a lot of fun was had. 30 degrees celsius too.

-We were stoked on the Live to Ride, Ride to Live stories that finally got published after sitting on a computer for 14 years. Chris Moeller gave you some insight on what living at the POW BMX house was like in 1994. It involved 10 guys staying in one place, midnight ramp building sessions, BMX racing, and being banned. Alex Leech helped out with photos and even some 1994 videos.
-The RedBull Empire of Dirt date is 25-26 July. Newton Abbott, Devon, England.
-More Videos on FATBMX this week: Riga comp, Simpel Session aftermath I + II, Zwanzig Zoll issue 22 promo, FISE Experience top 3, DaveyNoHands, Muenster Jam, Backyard Digger, Edwin snowboard video, Stijn Staal clip, Plus Vladdie and Waldemar in motion. Go find them.
-Instead of doing magazine reviews the publications come up with an extensive contents list with photos themselves. Zwanzig Zoll took it one step further this week and posted a video clip to promote issue # 22. RIDE BMX USA came in this week and so did FreedomBMX magazine.
-The European Props Megatour DVD also made it to the FATBMX address (Middellaan 31, 5708 ZE Helmond, NL). Review soon.
-Choq coming to the Mini-FAT-JAM on 29 March?
-Sandy Carson's new website is finished: www.sandycarson.com
-We might have two events in the Baltic area to go to in 2009. Simpel Session in January and a comp in Riga (Latvia) in March. Risto is on it.
-Senad Grosic sent over a photo of FATBMX fans in Mexico. Tattoo style.
-David Lombard is now working for WatchBMX as their BMX advertising guy.
-New opening times for the Eurobike trade show from 4-7 September 2008: In 2008, EUROBIKE will open its doors to the public one hour later (10:00 am) but close two hours later (8:00 pm) in the evening. There are three good reasons for this change: Exhibitors and trade visitors will have an extra hour to take care of business at the show, the longer opening hours in the evening are in keeping with today’s trends, and the new schedule significantly helps to reduce roadway congestion by eliminating trade show rush hour traffic in the mornings and evenings.
-Congrats to Alexis Desolneux and his wife for the addition of their daughter Yumé to their family. She was born on Tuesday. Both mom and baby are doing fine. Congrats!
