-Next to the USA now also Australia has a replica of the Olympic track. Luke Madill put the job in his own hands and got it done. It's the exact same set up except for the width of the track. The Netherlands have built a first straight replica of the Beijing track and those three countries are actually leading the Overall Ranking in the UCI Olympic rider qualification. What country is next? With on a few months to go they better hurry on that construction.
-The Duesseldorf University spot will start to show up in 20 year old issues of FAT-'zine in the next few weeks. The issues have been well received by the old dogs and tomorrow we'll get another one online for you. The end of the Uni spot is near though but before that happens the locals had a jam at the brick banks last weekend. Also the last session at the Abflughalle took place on Saturday March 15th. For a report, check here. The indoor trails are gone and the rain is here. Great.
-The weather has been absolutely terrible and you envy those who live in countries that are better off at this time of the year. We spent another day in the mud at a motocross race last Sunday. It was either that or sitting behind the screen another day.
-New magazines popped up this week. RIDEBMX USA, BMX World, RIDE UK, and Desillusion. Something to read for a rainy day (there are plenty of those coming).
-We started promoting the Mini-FAT-JAM that will take place next week Saturday at the Sugar Hills. Thanks to everyone for posting the info, much appreciated. With all the rain that has been coming down you might start to worry about the jam next week but who wants to bet we'll be riding in T-shirts again? Somehow we've been lucky with the outdoor season opener over the years and we're hoping for the same thing to happen in 2008. The trails can handle some serious rain so there is no problem there.
-The Odyssey Electronical video is making its rounds for premiers in almost every big BMX city. And that includes Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands. Saturday 22 March at 8pm at the world famous OJA. HD on the OJA screen, hope that works. 1 Euro bottled Bavaria beers before 10pm. and after that too..........
-A crew of S&M team riders won a pro BBQ set up at a BMX race. Believe it, or not!?
-The Action Sports Tour (AST) is going to China and they're bringing these vert dawgs for a demo from 18-20 April.

-From Simon Tabron: The Mount Hawke Easter contest is this Sunday and I think it's going to be really good. Ian Morris has said he's coming with Corey Martinez and Nathan Williams who are in the middle of a United UK tour and Northern John, James Hitchcox, Steve Bancroft and Rob ' Andre the Giant' Ridge have all confirmed their attendance. Should be a laugh.
