AST CHINA INVITATIONAL ARRIVES IN BEIJING APRIL 18-20 FOR INAGUARAL INTERNATIONAL EVENT

The AST, the umbrella brand and organization of the world’s most prestigious action sports events, begins its first international event on April 18-20 with the AST China Invitational in Beijing’s Daxing New Media District. The top professional action sports athletes from around the world-including Skateboard Vert athlete Andy Macdonald, BMX Vert Dew Cup champion Jamie Bestwick, and Skateboard Park competitor Rodolfo Ramos-will be competing at the inaugural AST China Invitational. Skateboard Vert Finals and Best Trick competition will be held on Saturday, April 12; Skateboard Park Prelims and Finals will be held on Sunday, April 13; and a fan-friendly BMX Vert exhibition will take place on both days. The point’s leaders in the skateboard vert/ park and BMX vert disciplines were invited to the AST China Invitational based on their ranking at the end of the 2007 AST Dew Tour season.
