and April 2008 is becoming the best visited month in FATBMX history. Thanks again and keep it coming.
Giving a short summary of week 21 is possible and we'll do our best to keep it short. This FAT Friday gets sent out to over 1000 people per e-mail who have subscribed to the FATBMX newsletter. It later gets uploaded on the site so if you really want to feel the power of BMX knowledge, simply subscribe to the FAT-Friday and you will receive the news in the mailbox on Fridays. I'm not saying every Friday because we already missed two this year because we were on the road.
We started off last week's FAT-Friday by telling you about the Numberplate Art show in China that was put on by Nike. Since the internet is pretty fast these days we already received updates on the plates and the China trip after a few days. The cool part about it was that some new school riders got to hang out with the originators of the sport. If you want to know who all were there, check out the article here. If you're more interested in the art that came out of the whole deal, you should hit up this link as we received plenty of pics from Nike about the art show. For those who want to know more about the China trip, make sure to read Glenn Milligan's experience by clicking HERE.
-Over in Mexico the Red Bull Elevation contest took place and we've got some reports up of that comp which looked amazing.

Talking about RedBull, they've got more events coming up. The Dirt Pipe in Australia, the Empire of Dirt in the UK (3D course design released), Bike Night in Italy, and a World Record attempt by Kevin Robinson in NYC. They sure must drink Red Bull all the time over there to keep going and going and going.....
-While lots of contest were happening all over the place we decided to go to Goirle for the Hellentrails dirtjump jam/contest which was won by Sven van Grieten. Good fun and home in 45 minutes. That rules.
-This week we also reported from being on the road with Dave Mirra and the Mirraco team in England. It was a great time and you can see what happened on the "Complete Package" trip by going HERE.
-You'd say that those events were enough for this week but we're not done yet. Joe Garland reported on the HUB Festival in Liverpool, England. Alex Vazquez sent in the results with pics and a video about the second stop of the REVOLCON BMX contest series in Mexico and Dave Rytell pedaled 45 miles home at 5am in the morning after visiting the Cassleberry jam in Florida.
-The FreeFlow tour has started and the first BMX winners are announced. Who won? Read this!
-Because we ran late on posting the reports this week we also had stuff on the Brazil X-Games, the Deventer street jam and the China X-Games.
Who said there is nothing going on this year?
-It seems like the magazines are arriving all at once. Lately we've received new issues from RIDE UK, RIDE USA, DIGBMX, BMX Plus!, LOOP, MOTO, BMX WORLD, Desillusion, FreedomBMX and we got a DHL message that the latest two mags of Rebelyell are on its way and will be delivered on Monday. Thanks to all for putting us on their list. Review soon (hopefully).
-At the moment I'm suffering from some seriously sore leg muscles. Why you ask? I finished shooting every page of all FAT-'zines ever made and had to bend down to turn the page a few hundred times. Doing a website keeps you fit! Did everyone see issue 12 that came out last Saturday?
-The list of pros and ams going to the BMX Masters is getting bigger by the day. Check it out by going HERE. Dave Osato, Brad Simms and Arthur Dietrich have been confirmed for the T-Mobile Summer Session at Pinneberg, Germany.
-We have seen mock-ups of the new FAT-JAM T-shirt and stickers designed by Michael de Wit. Looks awesome. Put this date in your calendar: 9 August; 20th edition of the FAT-JAM. Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands.
-The Orange Crush crushed the Dutch BMX racing championships. Roy van den Berg won the Elite men title followed by these guys.
-2 days left to bid on a very unique and autographed Skyway Reunion T-shirt with the benefits going towards the Stephen Murray fund.
-Search and you will find. These Croatian riders were stoked!
-Mouton is getting better. Good luck with the rehab from everyone at FATBMX.
-Oh yeah, Ben Hennon won that Bike Hall contest in Czech Republic and did the Complete Package on the podium!
-One more week to go in the Eastpak competition. We already received loads of answers but you have a chance to win too. What bike belongs to what rider? Do you really know it?
-3d drawings of the new X-Games discipline called "SuperPark" have reached the office but won't be revealed before we get the green light.
-I'll call it a day right here. By now you have probably checked the site anyway through one of the links. Just keep on checking every day to stay in the loop so you don't have to go through all these links at the end of the week.
Enjoy your weekend.
