like Billy Talent, Rage Against The Machine, NOFX and the Donots. You wanna play cool during their show? You'll lose, you'll go nuts! Anti-Flag will open the huge festival stage at the Wasserski Arena Pinneberg for Pennywise and headliner Mando Diao.
Top-notch riders will compete at the Summer Session. Eight national and international wakeboard and BMX pros have confirmed their participation.
The BMX section confirms two new riders with a bright future in the pro circuit. Ondra Slez, age 18, from the Czech Republic and 17-year-old Harry Main from Great Britain have established their names at the big European events and are ready to rock and ride at the Summer Session! They will go against the big boys in the game, like 2-time world champion
Dave Osato (CA), Tobias Wicke (GER), Brad Simms (USA), Markus Braumann (GER) and super rookie Arthur Dietrich (FR).
Nethertheless, ams and pros that haven't been invited to the wakeboard and BMX contests have a chance to enter the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds. They simply need to compete at the T-Mobile Local Support Wakeboard Challenge at the Wasserski-Arena, Hamm, 19th July; or at the German Open BMX Miniramp Contest in Berlin, 1st-3rd August. The top three pro riders of each contest will automatically be qualified for the competition in Hamburg. The most versatile amateur in Hamm and Berlin will get a T-Mobile-Wildcard. Both qualifiers and wildcard winners will compete against the world's best action sports riders at the Summer Session, 24th August.
Tickets are available at all official booking offices and cost 19 Euros + charges. Smart spenders can buy the 5-friends-ticket, which get one person in for free, i. e. 76 Euros + charges. Each ticket includes a free ride to the event and back (HVV & DB trains, 2nd class).
After a great take-off last year, and a successful Dirt Session in Duisburg this April, T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds continues to combine sports and concerts in a unique way. International top athletes compete against each other at three contests a year in order to cash in the huge amounts of price money. Furthermore, the latest and hottest bands provide the accompaying festival feeling. Nice Production GmbH from Hamburg is responsible for the event series. Its initiators are Andy Zeiss (rebeljam), Achim Kujawski (BMX pro), Patrick Unger (wakeboard pro), Lars-Oliver Vogt and Marc Feldmann. The three action sport pros and the two music industry experts create events that are as core as they can be. With highlight events that included bands like The Hives, Good Charlotte, Sportfreunde Stiller, Millencolin, Boysetsfire and Bullet For My Valentine there's a good reason for the five of them to be proud of what they've concepted and created.
