* Youngstown, Ohio native Anthony Napolitan is the 2006 Dew Cup winner in BMX dirt. He said he has some new tricks planned that he won't reveal until Friday's dirt finals. The double-threat will also hit the jumps and rails in the park competition.
* Jamie Bestwick of Nottingham, GBR notched another win onto his belt at last month's Panasonic Open, bringing his total to 12 wins out of the 16 BMX vert events over the previous three AST Dew Tour seasons. Bestwick is in a class of his own, and it's nearly impossible to unseat this flawless rider from his dominance.
* As the oldest competitor on Tour, 41-year-old Dennis McCoy shows no sign of slowing down as a BMX vert competitor. He finished last season fifth overall, and is not afraid to take risks and try new tricks.

The AST Dew Tour, the world's premier season-long action sports tour, begins its second event of the season on Thursday, July 17 with the Right Guard Open at Cleveland's North Coast Harbor. The five-city tour also includes stops in Baltimore, Portland, Salt Lake City and Orlando. Currently in its fourth year, the AST Dew Tour is the most watched and attended action sports property in the world. Attendance for the 2007 AST Dew Tour totaled 280,000 and an average of 41 million viewers tuned in via NBC and USA each year. The top athletes in the world will take part in this year's Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded in Orlando at season's end to champions in each of the six disciplines. The 2007 Dew Cup winners include Jamie Bestwick (BMX Vert), Ryan Nyquist (BMX Dirt), and Daniel Dhers (BMX Park).
