"The Eagle Own" tour was the end of 3 road trips with the Twenty team. The first was "The Pirate tour", the second "El Paella tour" and now we just finished "the Eagle Own tour". This road trip, or vacation, was also to film for the first TWENTY.bmx-DVD; "The Damage is Done".
For this third road trip we decided to visit the south of Spain with cities like Gerona, Roses, Figueras and the south of Barcelona with Badalona which is a really nice place for street and maybe the last place where the cops aren't in action because in downtown Barcelona it has become really difficult to ride without cops around you after 5mn.
For the south of Spain part,
Dimitri IVANOV, Jerome GAUTHIER and
Alex DROPSY joined the trip.

The first day we stopped at Roses to maybe ride the crazy natural ditch, I said "maybe" because last year there was a lot of water inside after the snow season but for the Eagle Own tour the ditch was clean and the Spanish sun was on fire ! Jerome GAUTHIER started the session with some icepicks, axlegrinds and icepick grinds and finished with some over icepick and high icepick. Dimitri took smooth lines and carved a lot with some aerials, invertd and turndowns. Alex DROPSY, the trails rider, borrowed BiBi's pegs for this trip and enjoyed a nice axle stall in the ditch. It was really exciting to film Jerome alone in the beautiful ditch, thanks Roses!
After the long session in the ditch we decided to stop for sleep in St Felix de Gassiou, there is a very nice and [url=http://www.campingsanpol.com] cheap camping[/url]. For one night you can rent a 5 persons bungalow for 55 Euros. All the bungalows are in the woods and you have the sea in front of your eyes.
After a long night the road was for Badalona. We never visited this south of Barcelona because in the past we were so exciting to go directly to downtown Barcelona but Badalona has some good places for ride. If you like rails, kink rails, ledges, kink ledges, gaps, sub rails, natural transfers, Badalona is for you. I don't know if Alex DROPSY was on a good day this day but after a long session he decided to finish with a good kink rail. After 4 tries he did it but the camera angle wasn't really beautiful and he decided to do it again...and this new angle was bad. Alex crashed hard down the floor and his right foot turned at the impact. His foot was really big and we decided to come back in France to give more comfort to Alex.
Once back in France the sessions continued on trails, yes, with the "la source-trails", the sections are different (small, turn, big, hip) and the wood around is really beautiful. This time the French sun is with us. Dimitri loves riding trails and doesn't finish to show his style during the session. Jerome and Alex were back home. They met at the trails so the session was short...ahahha, Dimitri decided to start chilling with a beer and more.... after he finished a nice run.
