-Have you decided to be part of the BMX zone this year and why (why not)? No, we are Shimano and our company makes all types of product lines for all of cycling. We are not just a BMX company although we make product.

-What new products are you bringing to Las Vegas that people need to check out?

Nothing new. Continuing with the DXR line which this year took the gold at Beijing, worlds and so on.

-Any special activities going on at the booth during the show? Launch of New Electric Dura Ace, Mechanical Dura Ace and SAINT

-How many people are going to help out in your booth during the show? We will have over 100 world wide employees at the show.

-Are you actually taking orders at the show or is it more to show products to the dealers and get contacts? Yes

-Are any of your riders coming to Interbike? Team Garmin will be at our booth on Thursday, SAINT Freeriders will be there on Wednesday

-Would you think a contest at Interbike would be a good idea since loads of people (industry/riders/media) are there already? Lots and lots of racing and promo events going on (Industry Crit, Cyclocross, Kona Bowling tournament, 4x race). A BMX comp will be good but not necessary and will not draw very many new people. Only people with intrest in BMX.

-What party are you looking forward to? Crit Race, Cyclocross race. Both are big, Kona Bowling party and the one in my room.

-What would make the 2008 edition of Interbike a success for you? If I make it out of there without a hangover and hair pulled out and if none of my customers don’t kill me.
