FISE XPERIENCE SERIES Le Havre (FRA): final stop on the '23 French urban sports tour

Only a few days to go before the 4th and final stage of the FISE Xperience Series 2023 kicks off this Friday, August 25 in Le Havre. With a programme running all weekend, the festival promises to bring together riders from all over Europe in the 4 competing disciplines: BMX Freestyle Park, Skateboard Bowl, Roller Freestyle Park and Scooter Bowl. After the success of Tignes last March, Reims in June, and Thonon-les-Bains in August, it's Le Havre's turn to host the latest stage in the FISE Xperience Series tour. With two sports areas adapted to the different disciplines in competition (a Freestyle Park for BMX Freestyle Park and Roller Freestyle, and the legendary Bowl du Havre for

Skateboard Bowl and Scooter Bowl), the Esplanade de la Plage will be the place to be for all urban sports enthusiasts.

Open to all men's and women's categories, the competitions will see the world's top and national riders battle it out against the talents of the local urban scene. Also on the program for this stage are shred contests, fun challenges for participants in all categories.

In addition to the title of FISE Xperience Le Havre winner for the 4 disciplines represented, the BMX Freestyle Park competition will also count as a stage in the Coupe de France FFC (French Cycling Federation). Pro riders will thus be able to collect UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) points for the world ranking qualification process, one year ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

This last stop on the FISE Xperience Series tour will also feature Alex Jumelin, an emblematic figure of French BMX Flatland and FISE Montpellier, as part of the Jules x FISE capsule collection, co-designed by the athlete. Visit the Jules stand on Saturday August 26 from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday August 27 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. for BMX Flatland demos by Alex Jumelin, followed by autograph sessions.
